Idiots Asking For Help
January 31st, 2007 at 08:07 amWhat's the deal with idiots that ask for financial help and then find an excuse as to why they can't do any of the things that you suggest? Are the simply asking in some lame attempt to fool themselves into believing they're making some type of effort? Don't waste my time or yours in asking for help if you have no intention of actually listening to the suggestions made.
It's not a difficult concept to grasp. You're in debt because of the things you are currently doing. If you aren't willing to change, hey, sorry to burst your self delusional bubble, but you're going to stay in debt.
The mere act of asking for help does squat. Reading all the financial experts in the world and then finding a reason why you can't do anything different is a good clue that you really are a hopeless idiot. Action is part of the equation and if you have decided that you aren't ready to take action, then all you're doing is wasting time.
What is even worse is that these people that ask for financial help think they are doing me some type a favor. Seriously. It's as if they have chosen me to try to help them so I should be thankful to them for choosing me. And hey, I shouldn't feel bad that I couldn't help them - it's the thought that they tried to let me help that I should carry around and treasure always. They act as if it is my failure that I couldn't help them. Lame imbeciles every one of them.
If someone wants financial help, I'm more than happy to help out if, and only if, they are serious. Nobody is doing me a favor of wasting my time trying to help when they have no intention of changing, so have the courtesy not to even ask.
