Stay Out Of My Personal Space

What the hell is it with people who feel they have every right to invade your personal space? Whether it's those damn perfume ladies at the department stores covering you before you have a chance to dodge them or people who get so close they are almost in your pants when talking with you, they should be body slammed every time they do something like that.

I'm usually more than happy to help someone out with a question if they have the common courtesy to ask it further than 3 inches from my face. It sure would have been a good time to have some ultimate fighter training and that person would never be invading other's space again.

And there lies the problem. Most people, even when someone is being completely rude to them, will still remain polite. They will move away, but rarely will they be as rude or even ruder back. I wonder if this encourages these clueless people to remain rude or if they are just missing a fundamental piece of being a human being?

I think the next time I go to the mall, I'm taking a pocket full of perfumes with me. Then when that chick steps up to spray, I'll hit her back with a deluge of her own medicine.

    Oh man - I was just there on a recent trip to Walmart - no not the perfume lady, but people just almost acting like they can't even see you, like you aren't even there...I was coughing and saying EXCUUUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEEEEEEE - and I was the one holding the floor space while someone else (numerous someone else's) just keep pushing on like you aren't even there!!!! AUUGGGHHHHHHHH!!

    I was saying things out loud to my son, CashHappy, "I KNOW I AM NOT INVISIBLE, CAN THEY JUST NOT SEE ME???? WHAT IS IT AM I THAT TINY THAT SHE CAN"T EVEN NOTICE THAT

    *I*
    * AM *
    *HEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRREEEEEEEEE???*

    Which totally cracked him up but seemed to not even phase the goombas that just kept invading my area...

    Oh man was I hot after that lil' trip was over. SHEEESH people where has common decency gone when you walk down the aisle in a store like you drive on the interstate???

    ...I know what you mean...Ale almost fell face-first yesterday because some 1d1ot stepped on her shoelaces!!!...how close do you have to be to step on someone else's shoelaces???

    I have noticed that Latinos have much less of a personal space requirement than Americans; in other words, they are comfortable with a much more of an 'up close and personal' encounter than others are comfortable with. I think it is often a cultural thing, altho i can't speak for those perfume ladies. Around here if you even run into them anymore they will ask you first if you'd to try it.

    About two years ago I went to Sears to buy a lawn mower. the salesman was somewhat pushy for starters but it became worse. He moved in towards me, I back off, he moved in,I backed off, on the third advance I stated, "Get out of my space!" He ran ten feet away, I thanked him for his time and left. There is no way I would have bought from him. I haven't been back to that store since.

    my boss has the habit of invading my personal space and creeping up on me he totally creeps me out and i cant stand him the other day i got totally pissed of and said dont creep up on me like that and told him to back of lol i thought what part of your invading my personal space and you creep me out dont you get he totally fancies himself and obviously hasnt looked in the mirror yuch he disgusts me i have to be nice because hes my boss but i cant stand him well he got the message and walked away thank god lol
